Sanya, China, June 2026 — The Sanya Jingang Ligong Martial Arts School officially opened this month, enrolling martial arts enthusiasts, wellness seekers, and career development individuals from around the world.The school is located in the Nanhai International Education Innovation Zone in Sanya, Hainan Province. Leveraging the policy dividends of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the positioning of an International Education Innovation Island, it creates an international martial arts education platform integrating "Education + Wellness + Entrepreneurship + Career Development."

A Millennium-Old Art, Passed Down Through 24 Generations

The school focuses on the traditional Chinese Jingang Ligong as its core practice.Jingang Ligong originated in the Han Dynasty and reached maturity in the Song Dynasty. It is a high-level internal martial art that integrates Daoist and Buddhist principles, cultivating both life essence and spirit. In 2015, it was listed by the General Administration of Sport of China as a project for the protection and promotion of China's intangible cultural heritage in sports.The school is led by Master Guo Xinmin, the 24th generation inheritor of Jingang Ligong.Master Guo comes from a martial arts family and has been engaged in teaching traditional martial arts and internal cultivation since 1993, with over 30 years of experience. His disciples are spread across more than a hundred countries and regions in Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa, and Oceania, with some foreign disciples already opening schools to teach in their respective countries.

The school offers 11 major courses, covering: Jin Gang Li Gong, Wing Chun (including Foshan Wing Chun and Tie Zhi Tang Wing Chun), Bajiquan, Tai Chi, Shaolin Martial Arts, Wudang Boxing, Xingyiquan, Baguazhang, Sanda, Nanquan, and Qigong.In addition, cultural elective courses such as Chinese language, calligraphy, tea ceremony, and Buddhist and Taoist theories are available for all students to take free of charge.
