Principal24th Generation Inheritor of Jin Gang Li Gong / Vice President of Sanya Wushu Association
Guo Xinmin (formerly known as Guo Xinmin), male, Han ethnicity, born in 1972, from Juancheng County, Heze, Shandong. He is the 24th generation inheritor of the traditional Chinese Jīn Gāng Lì Gong (Vajra Strength Skill), the 9th generation inheritor of the Wu-style Open-Door Bajiquan, the founder of the Shandong Guo-style Wing Chun, a sixth-duan Chinese martial artist, a national-level second-grade Sanda referee, a senior coach at the International Qigong and Martial Arts Academy, and a first-grade coach and first-grade referee in Chinese Short Weapon (Bing Dao). He previously served as the Executive Vice Principal of the Kunyu Mountain Martial Arts School in Yantai, Shandong, and concurrently serves as a council member of the Jīn Gāng Lì Gong Research Association of the Henan Martial Arts Association, and the President of the French International Guo-style Wing Chun and Traditional Kung Fu Association. In 2021, he was awarded the title of one of the Hundred Sunshine Martial Artists of Yantai.
Born into a traditional martial arts family, he began practicing martial arts from a young age under the guidance of his grandfather and father. In 1992, he formally became a disciple of Professor Yu Xianhua, the 23rd generation inheritor of the traditional Chinese Jīn Gāng Lì Gong and an intangible cultural heritage inheritor, systematically studying internal family internal skills, various bare-handed routines, and weapons. Later, he traveled to Mengcun, Hebei, to study the Wu-style Open-Door Bajiquan in depth under the renowned Bajiquan masters Wu Dawei and Li Junyi. He then traveled south to Guangdong, studying Wing Chun in Guangzhou and Foshan under Zheng Weimin, Zhang Guangjie, and Li Zhaohua, and further refined his techniques under the Yip Man lineage Wing Chun masters Li Hengchang and Guo Weizhan, also obtaining the martial arts cultural inheritance of the Feilai Temple Iron Juice Hall Wing Chun in Qingyuan.
Drawing on the essence of multiple martial arts schools, integrating the power generation and combat techniques of Jīn Gāng Lì Gong, the fierce and explosive close-quarters combat of Bajiquan, the close-range attack and defense of Wing Chun, and traditional internal family internal skills, he uniquely founded the Shandong Guo-style Wing Chun lineage. Since beginning his martial arts teaching career in the second half of 1993, he has dedicated over thirty years to the cultivation of martial arts education. His disciples are spread across hundreds of countries and regions in Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa, and Oceania. Many of his overseas indoor disciples have already established martial arts schools locally to promote Chinese Kung Fu.
